We just finished a hectic football season. Parker's last for community league. Next year will begin his school career. He had a fabulous year and learned more than ever before and strenghtened his skills. He made the all-star team. Last night finished up the second weekend of tournaments. Parker's season highlights: He scored a touchdown (mom missed it because she had to leave for church); when playing Russell County and tackled the running back who was supposedly old enough and large enough to be a freshman; causing 5 or so fumbles during regular season play. We've all enjoyed it. Glad it's over now but will probably start missing it in the next few weeks.

Parker's best football game!
Parker was at runningback in today's game against the Steelers. He got to run the ball for the first time in his football career. He tripped over his own feet once and Coach Matt forgave him. Coach Matt has guaranteed that he will make a touchdown this year. Parker is really becoming a strong player this year. He positions are Tight End, Safety, Running Back and Line Backer. He plays on the kick off team, kick off return team, offense and defense. He has come to appreciate time outs because it provides a water break. He made numerous tackles today and first downs. He recovered one fumble and had more fun playing today than he ever has.
Final score: Bengals 34, Steelers 6
