Kitchen remodel phase 1

The great deal on a dishwasher at a yard sale has turned into a kitchen remodel. The friends that I bought the dishwasher from said if it doesn't work they will refund my $15. :)
I'm trusting that it will be a wonderful dishwasher and work like a dream!

Ok, this picture should really be at the bottom but I haven't completely figured out how to upload photos evidently. This one shows the nastiness after the 1970's backsplash was removed.
